A Shot In The Dark
This is the famous wicker-work sided Mini from the classic 1964 film A Shot In The Dark staring Peter Sellers.
The picture on the left is a shot from the film and the picture on the right was taken by Mini World in June 1994 of the original Mini used in the film. There were three Mini's used in the film but this one was used for most of the driving shots with Peter Sellers at the wheel. This Mini was built especially for the film by Radford with their leather and walnut goodies inside and the engine was a 997cc Downtown motor.
